For decades, Lake Głębokie has been a favorite spot for recreation and relaxation among local residents. However, in recent years, the water level has been rapidly declining, causing the lake to dry up, which has unfortunately resulted in fewer tourists visiting. Nevertheless, measures have been taken, such as supplying water from the Obra River or from deep wells, to counteract the decreasing water levels and possibly even raise them slightly.

Lake Głębokie remains a favorite recreational destination for the residents of Międzyrzecz itself. It is easily accessible by car from the city center, and a newly constructed asphalt bike path encourages cycling trips to this charming location on beautiful sunny days.

Głębokie is located close to the S3 route, so it is worth taking a detour from the main road to visit this picturesque lake.
