The Gęśnik Valley is a newly revitalized park complex near Strumykowa Street in Zielona Góra, inviting visitors to relax and unwind in nature.
Here, you will find beautiful recreational areas, including a sandy beach with hammocks and a pier, trampolines for children, play installations for kids, covered picnic shelters, and even spots for campfires and barbecues.
On the left bank of the Gęśnik, a wooden boardwalk has been built in the form of a footpath that runs almost the entire length of the stream through the greenery of trees and shrubs. Along its length, there are picturesque benches where you can sit and admire the beautiful views of the Gęśnik.
Numerous walking and cycling trails with benches have been prepared along the Gęśnik, where you can rest and enjoy the beautiful greenery, the pond, the Gęśnik, and the ducks living there.
You can reach the area by bike, using the numerous cycling paths leading from both Batorego Street and from Sulechowska Street.
Closer to St. Brother Albert Chmielowski Church, there is also an Orlik sports complex and a rope park/monkey grove, which are big attractions for children.
