Muskau Park, situated on the Polish-German border, is a wonderful spot for hiking and cycling trips or spending a day walking with the whole family.

The Oder-Neisse Cycle Route runs through the middle of the park, stretching from the Baltic Sea to Zittau, passing through nearby towns like Forst to the north and Pieńsk and Zgorzelec to the south. It's worth embarking on at least part of this route along the Lusatian Neisse near the park, as it offers stunning views, a smooth asphalt path throughout, and numerous rest areas where you can pause to snack and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Visiting Muskau Park is especially recommended on a sunny weekend in the spring or summer when the lush vegetation, sprawling centuries-old trees, hills, and picturesque bridges over the Neisse make a striking impression and allow for truly deep relaxation.

Numerous pathways invite you to take a ride on a bicycle, an electric scooter, or a horse-drawn carriage, which you can rent on-site. At Pückler Castle in Bad Muskau, on the German side of the border, electric bikes are available for rent, and there's a café where you can enjoy a sweet treat, with the staff speaking Polish.

By the castle, there are also numerous ponds and free deck chairs, where you can relax while enjoying views of the greenery, water, and water birds.

Near the castle, there is also a picturesque old farm complex, home to a restaurant and café with outdoor seating, and a parking area on the German side of the border (the first turnoff right after crossing the border onto a granite road). The parking is paid, and fees can be paid at a machine near the exit barrier (cash payment is accepted).

Parking is also available on the Polish side via Hutnicza Street; however, it is more expensive than on the German side, and you park on grass. Importantly, there is a no-parking zone within the park itself, so there is no free parking directly at the park, but you can park further away, on the other side of 1 Maja Street, in one of the residential areas. Parking there is free.
